Halton Hills Christian School is a member of two support organizations, The Ontario Alliance of Christian Schools (OACS) and the recently formed Christian Schools Canada(CSC).   We are also members of Christian Schools International (CSI).  In June 2008, our school earned a recognition and an accreditation from the Canadian Hallmark Institute Accreditation Program.  Halton Hills Christian School became one of the top 9 Christian schools in Ontario to receive this accreditation.

The Ontario Alliance of Christian Schools (OACS)

The Ontario Alliance of Christian Schools was formed in 1952 to promote Biblical education in the province and to provide a meeting place for like-minded schools.  Although there were only two schools when OACS was started, last year the organization included 62 elementary schools and 11 secondary schools, with total enrollment of over 12,000 students.

OACS provides many layers of support.  From conventions to legal advice, from curriculum guides to accounting services, from conflict resolution to political advocacy.  It is the primary support organization for HHCS.

Christian Schools Canada (CSC)

The mandate of Christian Schools Canada is to develop and promote a Canadian identity for Christian education based on a Biblical world view by:

     1.  Coordinating projects of service to the participating Canadian schools.
     2.  Communicating information between members.
     3.  Participating in the public debate on educational development in Canada
          through membership in national organizations.
     4.  Monitoring on-going developments in public policy regarding independent
          schools in Canada.
     5.  Being open to partnership arrangements with other national and international
          Christian educational organizations.

Christian Schools International (CSI)

Christian Schools International is an organization of 408 member schools (not including affiliate members).  Together these schools serve over 100,000 students across North America - 25,451 of them in Canada (116 schools).  CSI seeks to advance the cause of Christian education throughout North America and the world.

Our school is a member of Christian Schools International.  CSI is a nonprofit organization that has been serving schools in Canada and the U.S. since 1920.  CSI is committed to advancing Christian education and supports schools in their task of teaching students to know God and His world and to glorify Him through obedient service.

Canadian Hallmark Institute Accreditation

CHI offers programs to bring about public accountability in the independent school sector.  The accreditation program provides public information about the instructional accomplishments and student achievements of independent schools.   The simple purpose of the process is to define a good school based on objective standards derived from the best available research in North America.   CHI vision is to assure accountability and contribute to the enhancement of the quality of non-government education in Canada.  This will be done through assessments and reviews based on objective, reliable and relevant information, and the timely public release of that information along with recommendations for independent school improvement.
