HHCS has impacted our lives and the lives of our children. HHCS is a place where they are not only receiving an education but they are also being  spiritually nurtured. Subjects are continually given a Christian perspective to encourage and challenge our kids to take the material that they are studying and reflect on what it further means as a Christian.

Staff and volunteers make HHCS a great place to be. Concerns are dealt with in a caring and loving manner and success is celebrated.

When asked, how our son is doing in kindergarten, the answer comes so easy to both of us, “Great!” HHCS has been a wonderful experience for our family. Having my first born start school was a big step in our family life but sending him to HHCS felt like coming home as I had attended there myself as a child. From the principal, to the teachers, to the board, we have felt a part of the community of saints that God has given us in helping to raise our children. God has blessed Georgetown with this school and we are grateful that we are able to share in this blessing.

Last year we had the pleasure of speaking with a pastor friend of ours. We asked how Christian education fit into God's plan for our children and their life experience. He told us there is no higher responsibility in our lives as Christian parents than to care for and nourish our offspring in a manner pleasing to God. Christian education is one of the best gifts we can offer to our kids!

For most of us, it's both a stretch and sacrifice to make this education possible. The fruits are both boundless and endless. When chatting with people about our wonderful school, many people have the misconception that the parents of our school's children are all "rich."  In truth many parents we know are hard working folks with strong values who have chosen to make sacrifices in order that their offspring can enjoy and practice their Christian faith in a diverse and ever-changing society.

As parents the benefits are both tangible and intangible. The joy we feel as we walk into the school for a play or concert is heart-warming. The children one passes in the hall are both courteous and respectful. The memory work of Bible verses directs their young minds to God and His purpose for their lives. The teachers exude love, compassion and genuine concern. There is none of the bullying one hears of in some schools.  Best of all they are flourishing in a truly Christian, loving environment where Christ is woven into their lives and souls with joyful expectancy and without any misgivings or apologies.

Many of our friends and family members (such as siblings) remark they would like to have sent their kids to a Christian school "if they could afford it". However, many of these same people enjoy luxuries such as lavish vacations, cottages, luxury automobiles or golf memberships (all of which are wonderful) in lieu of an independent school Christian education. For us the decision to enroll in HHCS was simple once we met the staff, parents and fellow classmates. Our most valuable legacy indeed will be godly children, focused on God's will and the needs of others. Truly a blessing indeed!

Three of our four children have had the benefit of being educated at HHCS. By the time we enrolled our children at the school, the eldest was starting high school so he did not have the chance to benefit from a HHCS education. The remaining three started in grade's 6 (Michael), 3 (Peter) and 1 (Rachel).  While our children were doing well academically, we were looking for a more fulfilling education that prepared them to be good people, not just good learners. We found that at HHCS. We discovered that our Christian faith was a common thread that was woven throughout the school academically and socially.

We were refreshed by the teachers and their kind approach and dedication to the students while giving each the individual attention that brings out the best in young minds.

Our experience at HHCS has been very fulfilling as we continue to see our children move on through life and excel in their continued studies and especially as young people with a great Christian foundation."
